Financiamiento de la gestión de los servicios que brinda la institución essalud, departamento de Loreto, periodo 2018 - 2022

Abstract

El estudio busca evaluar la sostenibilidad financiera de la institución, considerando factores como la reducción de aportes de los afiliados, deuda acumulada por entidades públicas y privadas, el aumento de la población asegurada. Además, determina si los ingresos de Essalud son suficientes para cubrir los costos y gastos administrativos, y si existe un crecimiento en la población asegurada tanto a nivel nacional como en Loreto, enfoque descriptivo y cuantitativo para analizar el comportamiento financiero de Essalud en Loreto; técnica de análisis documental y estadístico, utilizando datos históricos de Essalud y SUNAT. Este enfoque permite una evaluación detallada de la sostenibilidad financiera de Essalud y la evolución de la población asegurada en el periodo 2018-2022. La tesis concluye que, aunque Essalud ha logrado un crecimiento en la población asegurada y una mejora en los resultados financieros en 2022, aún enfrenta desafíos significativos en términos de sostenibilidad financiera, especialmente en regiones como Loreto. Se requiere una gestión más eficiente de los recursos y una mayor inversión en infraestructura y personal para garantizar la calidad y oportunidad de los servicios de salud.

The study seeks to evaluate the institution's financial sustainability, considering factors such as the reduction in member contributions, accumulated debt from public and private entities, and the increase in the insured population. It also determines whether Essalud's revenues are sufficient to cover administrative costs and expenses, and whether there is growth in the insured population both nationally and in Loreto. It uses a descriptive and quantitative approach to analyze Essalud's financial performance in Loreto. It also uses documentary and statistical analysis techniques, using historical data from Essalud and SUNAT. This approach allows for a detailed assessment of Essalud's financial sustainability and the evolution of the insured population during the 2018-2022 period. The thesis concludes that, although Essalud has achieved growth in the insured population and improved financial results in 2022, it still faces significant challenges in terms of financial sustainability, especially in regions such as Loreto. More efficient resource management and greater investment in infrastructure and personnel are required to ensure the quality and timeliness of health services
