Abstract
El objetivo fue relacionar los factores sociodemográficos y la ideación suicida en adultos de un asentamiento humano Nuevo San Juan en Nauta Iquitos 2025. Estudio descriptivo-correlacional, no experimental transeccional, integró una población de 530 personas, usó la encuesta y los instrumentos escala de ideación suicida de Aaron T. Beck y el cuestionario sociodemográfico de Guevara. La información se procesó con Jamovi, alcanzando los resultados: las mujeres fueron en 52,7%, y los pobladores entre 18 a 33 años fueron 43,7%; de 34 – 43 años con 33,3%; la mayoría de los pobladores tienen unión libre en 41,9%; las familias con 2 – 3 hijos son el 37,8%. Con instrucción primaria son el 33,3%, secundaria 33,3%; técnicos 22,5% y universitarios 10,8%. Los pobladores entre 1 – 17 años son el 53,2%; y el 85,6% tienen un trabajo, el 39,2% no ingiere licor, 39,2% toma dos veces a la semana y el 21,6% más de tres veces. Los pobladores en 94,1% no tiene familia con intento suicida. Concluye: Encontró relación en la instrucción, religión con la ideación suicida.
The objective was to relate sociodemographic factors and suicidal ideation in adults in the Nuevo San Juan settlement in Nauta Iquitos 2025. This descriptive-correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional study included a population of 530 people and used Aaron T. Beck's suicidal ideation scale survey and Guevara's sociodemographic questionnaire. The information was processed using Jamovi, yielding the following results: women accounted for 52.7% of the population, and residents aged 18 to 33 accounted for 43.7%; those aged 34 to 43 accounted for 33.3%; the majority of residents 41.9% were in common-law unions; families with 2–3 children accounted for 37.8%. Those with primary education accounted for 33.3%, secondary education 33.3%, technical education 22.5%, and university education 10.8%. Residents aged 1–17 account for 53.2%; 85.6% are employed, 39.2% do not drink alcohol, 39.2% drink twice a week, and 21.6% drink more than three times a week. 94.1% of residents do not have family members who have attempted suicide. Conclusion: A relationship was found between education, religion, and suicidal ideation.
