Abstract
Introducción: El cáncer de cuello uterino es el segundo cáncer de lasmujeres,
con una alta tasa de mortalidad, en un cáncer prevenible, querequiere que las
mujeres tengan un buen nivel de conocimiento sobre los factores, su clínica y
los procedimientos diagnósticos para la reducción de su prevalencia.
Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre cáncer de cuello uterino
del AAHH San Antonio, noviembre del 2020.
Metodología: Estudio de Tipo cuantitativo de diseño descriptivo, transversal,
prospectivo, correlativo, entrevistando a mujeres del AAHH San Antonio, se
aplicó un cuestionario de 23 preguntas, 9 de factores,5 de su clínica y 9 sobre
su diagnóstico, será adecuado si tiene 15 a más puntos.
Resultados: El 44.3% con un nivel adecuado de conocimiento, mejor sobre el
diagnostico (56.8%) seguido de los factores (44.9%) y sobre laclínica (40.3%); el
conocimiento se asoció significativamente con el nivel de instrucción de la
mujer (p = 0.039), con la recepción de información del cáncer (p = 0.032) y con
las que se realizan su PAP frecuentemente o por indicación médica (p = 0.012)
Conclusión: Menos del 50% de las mujeres entrevistadas del AAHH tienen un
nivel adecuado de conocimiento sobre el cáncer de cuello uterino,
