Afrontamiento al estrés y agresividad en adolescentes del centro poblado san cirilo de San Juan Bautista, 2022

Abstract

Se llevó a cabo una investigación cuyo objetivo principal fue determinar cuál es la relación que existe entre los estilos de afrontamiento al estrés de Frydenberg y Lewis y las manifestaciones de la agresividad según Buss, en adolescentes del Centro Poblado San Cirilo de San Juan Bautista, el año 2022. La muestra estuvo conformada por 30 adolescentes del Centro Poblado San Cirilo de San Juan Bautista que fueron seleccionados por muestreo no paramétrico de tipo intencional. A la muestra se le aplicó Inventario de Afrontamiento al Estrés de Frydenberg y Lewis, adaptado y estandarizado para la población peruana. Para evaluar los niveles de agresividad se aplicó el Inventario de Agresividad de Buss, adaptado y estandarizado para la población peruana. Entre las principales conclusiones se indica que se encontró niveles altos de correlación inversa entre afrontamiento al estrés y agresividad. Se recomendó charlas motivacionales y, de ser posible, aplicar programas ya elaborados en otros países para desarrollar y fomentar las estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés en adolescentes.

An investigation was carried out whose main objective was to determine the relationship between the stress coping styles of Frydenberg and Lewis and the manifestations of aggressiveness according to Buss, in adolescents from the San Cirilo de San Juan Bautista Population Center, the year 2022. The sample consisted of 30 adolescents from the San Cirilo de San Juan Bautista Population Center who were selected by intentional non-parametric sampling. The Frydenberg and Lewis Stress Coping Inventory was applied to the sample, adapted and standardized for the Peruvian population. To assess levels of aggressiveness, the Buss Aggression Inventory was applied, adapted and standardized for the Peruvian population. Among the main conclusions, it is indicated that high levels of inverse correlation were found between coping with stress and aggressiveness. Motivational talks were recommended and, if possible, apply programs already developed in other countries to develop and promote stress coping strategies in adolescents.
