Abstract
Introducción: La psicoprofilaxis obstétrica es un conjunto de
actividades conceptuales y gimnasia para la preparación integral de
las embarazadas, que contribuye a la disminución de las
complicaciones maternas y perinatales, siendo importante conocer el
nivel de conocimiento que adquieren las madres durante su atención
prenatal
Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre la psicoprofilaxis
de madres del AAHH 9 de Octubre – Belén, noviembre 2020
Metodología: El estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo, de diseño
descriptivo, transversal, prospectivo, correlacional; entrevistando a 68
madres del AAHH 9 de Octubre – Belén; el muestreo fue por
conveniencia, aplicando un cuestionario de conocimientos de 18
preguntas de opciones múltiples, sobre el conceptos, beneficios y
sobre las sesiones de psicoprofilaxis considerando conocimiento
adecuado aquellas con puntaje de 12 a 18 puntos.
Resultados: El 52.9% de las madres encuestadas del AAHH 9 de
Octubre de Belén presentan un nivel de conocimiento adecuado sobre
la psicoprofilaxis obstétrica; con un adecuado conocimiento sobre el
concepto de psicoprofilaxis (55.9%) y de sus beneficios (67.6%); el
57.4% no tienen un conocimiento adecuado sobre las sesiones
psicoprofilaxis.
La paridad influye significativamente en el nivel de conocimiento sobre
la psicoprofilaxis (p = 0.018); la edad y la instrucción no se asociaron
significativamente.
Conclusión: Las madres del AAHH 9 de Octubre – Belén; tienen en
su mayoría un nivel adecuado conocimiento sobre psicoprofilaxis,
con una menor frecuencia sobre las sesiones de psicoprofilaxis.
