Abstract
The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a correlational type and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 55 teachers, selected through a census sampling method due to the manageable size of the sample. Data collection was carried out using the Maslach and Jackson Burnout Inventory (adapted to Peru) and a nationally validated Job Performance Questionnaire. The information was processed with SPSS software version 26, applying descriptive analyses, normality tests, and non-parametric tests (Chi-square, Spearman, and Kruskal-Wallis). The results showed that most teachers presented medium levels of Burnout (96.4%) and high levels of job performance (72.7%). However, the association tests indicated that there is no statistically significant relationship between Burnout and job performance in the studied population.
