Factores asociados al embarazo en adolescentes atendidas en la Ipress I-4 bellavista nanay Punchana, 2024

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue identificar los factores asociados al embarazo en adolescentes atendidas en la IPRESS I-4 Bellavista Nanay Punchana durante el año 2024. La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental de tipo descriptivo y correlacional, con enfoque prospectivo. La población estuvo compuesta por 162 adolescentes de entre 10 y 19 años; la muestra se definió mediante un criterio de exclusión, resultando en 114 participantes. Se utilizó un cuestionario sobre los factores vinculados al embarazo adolescente, previa obtención del consentimiento informado tanto del tutor legal como de las adolescentes involucradas. Los resultados indicaron que el 56.1% de las adolescentes se encontraba en el grupo etareo de 15 a 19 años, siendo la mayoría procedente de áreas urbanas (52.6%). A pesar de que el 61.4% había recibido educación sexual, un 12.2% reportó haber sufrido abuso y el 43.9% consumía sustancias, principalmente alcohol. Se concluye que las tasas de embarazo están significativamente asociadas con la falta de educación sexual (p = 0.003), la dinámica familiar (p = 0.001) y la influencia del machismo (p = 0.008), así como con el consumo de sustancias (p = 0.017).

The objective of this study was to identify the factors associated with pregnancy in adolescents treated at the IPRESS I-4 Bellavista Nanay Punchana during the year 2024. The research was quantitative in approach, with a non-experimental design of a descriptive and correlational type, with a prospective approach. The population consisted of 162 adolescents between 10 and 19 years old; the sample was defined by an exclusion criterion, resulting in 114 participants. A questionnaire on the factors linked to adolescent pregnancy was used, after obtaining informed consent from both the legal guardian and the adolescents involved. The results indicated that 56.1% of the adolescents were in the age group of 15 to 19 years, with the majority coming from urban areas (52.6%). Although 61.4% had received sexual education, 12.2% reported having suffered abuse and 43.9% consumed substances, mainly alcohol. It is concluded that pregnancy rates are significantly associated with the lack of sexual education (p = 0.003), family dynamics (p = 0.001) and the influence of machismo (p = 0.008), as well as with substance use (p = 0.017).
