Abstract
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la depresión y ansiedad alumnos del quinto grado de secundaria de la Institución Educativa Mariscal Oscar R, Benavides en la ciudad de Iquitos, 2023.
Investigación básica, enfoque cuantitativo, alcance descriptivo – correlacional, transversal, prospectivo y analítico, incluyó una población de 210 estudiantes del quinto grado de secundaria de la Institución Educativa Mariscal Oscar R, Benavides, utilizó un muestreo aleatorio simple siendo 136 la muestra. Técnica la encuesta, utilizó los instrumentos escala de ansiedad y depresión de Zung, W.
La información fue analizada con el software SPSS v25, obteniendo los resultados siguientes: variable ansiedad, el 80,9%, tuvieron ausencia de ansiedad y el 19,1% ansiedad moderada. Variable depresión, el 53,7%, tuvieron depresión normal, 45,6% depresión moderada y 0,7% depresión severa. Concluye: Existe relación significativa entre la ansiedad y depresión, además, la ansiedad se relaciona significativamente con el sexo en los alumnos del quinto grado de secundaria de la I.E. Mariscal Oscar R, Benavides.
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between depression and anxiety in fifth grade high school students at the Mariscal Oscar R Educational Institution, Benavides in the city of Iquitos, 2023. Basic research, quantitative approach, descriptive scope - correlational, transversal, prospective and analytical, included a population of 210 students from the fifth grade of secondary school at the Mariscal Oscar R Educational Institution, Benavides, used a simple random sampling with 136 being the sample. The survey technique used the anxiety and depression scale instruments of Zung, W. The information was analyzed with SPSS v25 software, obtaining the following results: anxiety variable, 80.9% had no anxiety and 19.1% had moderate anxiety. Depression variable, 53.7% had normal depression, 45.6% had moderate depression and 0.7% had severe depression. Concludes: There is a significant relationship between anxiety and depression, in addition, anxiety is significantly related to sex in fifth grade secondary school students at the I.E.
