Abstract
La intención del estudio es determinar la relación que existe entre la
violencia familiar y la autoestima en jóvenes del Centro Poblado de Santo
Tomas del distrito San Juan Bautista año 2022
Estudio cuantitativo, método hipotético – deductivo, población
conformada por 930 adolescentes del Centro Poblado de Santo Tomas del
distrito San Juan Bautista, el muestreo fue aleatorio simple siendo la
muestra 272 adolescentes, la técnica fue psicométrica y encuesta, los
instrumentos fueron el inventario de autoestima y el cuestionario de
violencia familiar.
Para analizar la información se utilizó el software SPSS v25, teniendo
las siguientes evidencias. Variable autoestima el 82,7 tuvieron nivel
intermedio, el 8,8% nivel bajo y el 8,5% nivel alto y la variable violencia
familiar el 85,7% tuvieron nivel bajo y el 14,3% nivel moderado. Concluye:
La violencia familiar se relaciona con la autoestima en jóvenes del Centro
Poblado de Santo Tomas del distrito San Juan Bautista (Rho= -0,204;
p=0,001; correlación inversa media).
The intention of the study is to determine the relationship between family violence and self-esteem in young people from the Santo Tomas Town Center in the San Juan Bautista district in 2022. Quantitative study, hypothetical - deductive method, population made up of 930 adolescents from the Santo Tomas Town Center in the San Juan Bautista district, the sampling was simple random, the sample being 272 adolescents, the technique was psychometric and a survey, the instruments were the self-esteem inventory and the family violence questionnaire.
