Abstract
creciente demanda digital.
This study, entitled "Influence of ICTs on Sales Management in Iquitos Travel Agencies, 2025," analyzes the impact of Information and Communication Technologies on the commercial processes of these companies. The main objective is to evaluate how the adoption of digital tools modifies efficiency, customer acquisition, and loyalty. A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach was used. Thirty agencies were surveyed using non-probability convenience sampling. Data normality was assessed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk tests. Since the results did not meet the assumptions of a normal distribution, non-parametric tests were used: the Wilcoxon Z test for the general hypothesis and the Mann-Whitney U test for the four specific hypotheses. The findings revealed a significant effect of ICTs on sales management (Z = -2.418; p = 0.006). Process automation, like staff training, had a favorable impact on operational efficiency and commercial results (p < 0.05). In contrast, digital promotion and technological restrictions were not significant because they did not meet statistical significance levels. Therefore, it is argued that the incorporation of technologies along with training improves sales rates in travel agencies in Iquitos. Thus, it is suggested that the planned integration of information systems and ongoing staff training are important strategies for strengthening the sector's competitiveness in contexts of growing digital demand. commercial success of artisanal ice cream entrepreneurs.
