Complicaciones maternas y perinatales en gestantes con infección de tracto urinario atendidas en el hospital regional de Loreto, 2022

dc.description.abstract | Objective Determine maternal and perinatal complications in pregnant women with Urinary Tract Infection treated at the Loreto Regional Hospital, 2022. Methodology The research was quantitative, with a descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective design; the sample of 271 pregnant women with urinary tract infection and simple random probabilistic sampling. Results 77.9% of pregnant women were between 20 and 34 years old, 83.0% cohabited, 59.0% were from urban origin and 72.7% had secondary education; likewise, in the obstetric characteristics; 52.0% were multiparous; The main maternal complications were; premature rupture of membranes (5.2%), premature birth (4.4%), preeclampsia (3.7%) and sepsis (1.5%); perinatal complications; prematurity (11.4%), low birth weight (5.5%), neonatal sepsis (3.0%) and jaundice (2.2%). Conclusion Premature rupture of membranes (p=0.001), Preeclampsia (p=0.001) and Neonatal Sepsis (p=0.045) had a significant relationship with urinary tract infection in pregnant women. | es_ES |
