Abstract

The main findings indicated that 54.6% of employees presented a high level of affective commitment, reflecting an emotional connection with the municipality; 71.3% showed low commitment to continuity, suggesting insecurity about job stability and long-term benefits; in terms of commitment to compliance, 56.5% of employees showed a medium level, suggesting that some employees consider the institution to have a certain level of responsibility, but there is no strong identification. To summarize, the level of organizational commitment in the local government is moderate, leaning toward a more positive affective commitment, although lacking in terms of perceptions of job security and sense of organizational responsibility.
