Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la procrastinación académica y el rendimiento académico en alumnos de 4°y 5° grado de educación secundaria I.E. N°60904 Tnte César Augusto López Rojas Villa Trompeteros, 2024. El estudio abarcó aspectos cuantitativos, teóricos, descriptivos, prospectivos y analíticos. Se utilizó un muestreo aleatorio estratificado con 84 estudiantes como muestra, utilizando la encuesta, el instrumento de la escala de procrastinación académica (EPA), de Busko, y el informe de progreso de aprendizaje de MINEDU. Los datos se analizaron mediante el software SPSS v25., siendo los resultados: Variable procrastinación académica, los alumnos tuvo nivel moderado en 77,4% y alta en 22,6%. Variable rendimiento académico, el 69% de los alumnos alcanzaron el nivel de logro previsto, 21,4% se encuentran en proceso, 8,3% están en inicio y el 1,2% consiguieron el logro destacado. Concluyó: no evidencia relación entre la procrastinación académica y el rendimiento académico (X2= 1,283; gl= 3; p=0,733).
The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between academic procrastination and academic performance in students of 4th and 5th grade of secondary school I.E. N°60904 Tnte César Augusto López Rojas Villa Trompeteros, 2024. The study covered quantitative, theoretical, descriptive, prospective and analytical aspects. A stratified random sampling was used with 84 students as sample, using the survey, the instrument of the academic procrastination scale (EPA), by Busko, and the progress report of learning of MINEDU. The data were analyzed using SPSS v25 software, with the following results: Academic procrastination variable, 77.4% of the students had a moderate level and 22.6% had a high level. Variable academic performance, 69% of the students reached the expected level of achievement, 21.4% are in process, 8.3% are at the beginning and 1.2% achieved outstanding achievement. It concluded: there is no evidence of a relationship between academic procrastination and academic achievement (X2= 1.283; gl= 3; p=0.733).
