La factibilidad comercial señala una importante demanda, a la que contribuyen los medios de transporte de acceso, caso aéreo, y la promoción y publicidad que realiza el gobierno del turismo de naturaleza, con dos segmentos de clientes, los turistas internacionales y nacionales. En el aspecto técnico, se tienen una infraestructura y servicios públicos, y el buen acceso a los destinos de naturaleza en diferentes puntos cercanos a la ciudad. En el ámbito urbano se cuenta con mercados de abastos de productos alimenticios.
