Abstract
La presente investigación titulada niveles de autoestima en alumnos de 11 a 15 años de una Institución Educativa - Iquitos 2024, el estudio determina el nivel de autoestima en alumnos de 11 a 15 años de la Institución Educativa José Carlos Mariátegui de Francisco de Orellana de las Amazonas 2024
Estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo simple, diseño no experimental transeccional, población conformada por 11 alumnos de 11 a 15 años, utilizó el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia siendo la muestra 111 alumnos, la técnica psicométrica fue la que se usó, siendo el instrumento el inventario de autoestima de Coopersmith utilizado para evaluar la autoestima escolar.
La información fue analizada mediante el software SPSS v25., obteniendo los siguientes resultados: El nivel de autoestima fue medio bajo en 75,7%; sin embargo, con autoestima nivel bajo en 8,1%, sin embargo, el 16,2% de alumnos tuvo nivel medio alto. la autoestima de acuerdo a la edad, de 11 a 13 años, 78,5% tuvo nivel medio bajo de autoestima, 12,3% medio alto; bajo 9,2%. De 14 a 15 años, 71,7% tuvieron nivel de autoestima medio bajo, 21,7% medio alto; 6,5% bajo. De acuerdo al sexo, las mujeres, el 78,6% tuvo autoestima medio bajo, 12,5% medio alto, 8,9% bajo. Los varones, el 72,7% tuvo nivel medio bajo, 20% medio alto, 7,3% bajo. Concluyó: la mayor parte de alumnos presentaron nivel medio bajo en 75,7% y no evidencia relación entre autoestima con el sexo y edad (p>0,05).
The present research, titled "Self-Esteem Levels in Students Aged 11 to 15 at an Educational Institution – Iquitos 2024", aimed to determine the level of self-esteem in students aged 11 to 15 at the José Carlos Mariátegui Educational Institution in Francisco de Orellana, Amazonas, in 2024. The population consisted of 111 students aged 11 to 15, selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. A psychometric technique was used, applying the Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory to assess school self-esteem. The data were analyzed using SPSS v25 software. The results showed that 75.7% of students had a moderately low level of self-esteem; 8.1% had a low level, and 16.2% had a moderately high level.
