Item Satisfacción familiar y motivación intrínseca en estudiantes de un centro de estudios preuniversitario Iquitos, 2025(Universidad Científica del Perú, 2026-04-27) Flores Manuyama, Lethy Lizeth; Malafay Saavedra, Sandra; Díaz Guerrero, José AlbertoThe present study aimed to determine the relationship between family satisfaction and intrinsic motivation amongst students at a pre-university study centre in Iquitos, 2025. The research was quantitative, basic, and descriptive-correlational in design, with an analytical approach. The population comprised 340 students; simple random sampling was employed, yielding a sample of 181 students. The survey technique was used, with the following instruments: Amabile's Intrinsic Motivation Scale, and the Family Satisfaction Scale by Adjectives – ESFA, developed by Jorge Barraca Mairal and Luis López-Yarto Elizalde. The data were analysed using SPSS v25 software. The results were as follows: the intrinsic motivation variable showed a high level in 72.9% of cases and a moderate level in 27.1%. The family satisfaction variable was high in 37.6%, moderate in 37.6%, and low in 24.9% of cases. It is concluded that intrinsic motivation is related to family satisfaction (p<0.05); there are no significant differences between intrinsic motivation and sociodemographic characteristics (p>0.05); and there are no significant differences between family satisfaction and sociodemographic characteristics (p>0.05).
